Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Mix the Base

  • In a mixing bowl, add milk, heavy cream, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and vanilla bean paste. Whisk until sugar completely dissolves.

Check the Texture

  • Make sure the mixture is smooth and well combined. No sugar grains should remain at the bottom of the bowl.

Fill the Container

  • Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container. Do not overfill. Leave some space at the top for freezing expansion.

Freeze the Mixture

  • Place the container in the freezer. Freeze for at least 24 hours. This step is very important for perfect texture.

Prepare for Churning

  • Remove the frozen pint from the freezer. Let it sit for 5 minutes so it is not too hard for processing.

Process in Ninja Creami

  • Place the pint into the Ninja Creami machine. Select the “Ice Cream” setting and let it churn until smooth.

Re-Spin if Needed

  • If the texture looks crumbly, use the re-spin option. This makes the ice cream creamy and soft again.

Serve the Ice Cream

  • Scoop into bowls and serve immediately. Enjoy the rich vanilla flavor and smooth texture.

Notes

  • Use real vanilla bean for stronger flavor
  • Add chocolate chips for crunch
  • Mix in caramel for sweetness
  • Use almond milk for lighter version
  • Do not skip freezing time
  • Re-spin for extra creaminess
