Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Pinch of salt

Prepare the Pineapple

  • Peel and cut fresh pineapple into small chunks. Make sure pieces are ripe and sweet. Fresh pineapple gives the best flavor. Remove any hard core pieces for a smooth texture.

Blend the Mixture

  • Add pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, sugar, lemon juice, water and salt into a blender. Blend until smooth. The mixture should be liquid and free of chunks for a creamy sorbet base.

Freeze the Base

  • Pour the blended mixture into a Ninja Creami container. Close the lid tightly. Place it in the freezer for at least 24 hours. This step is very important for proper texture.

Process in Ninja Creami

  • Remove the frozen container from the freezer. Place it in the Ninja Creami machine. Select the sorbet setting. Let it spin until smooth and creamy. It may look crumbly at first.

Re-spin if Needed

  • If the sorbet looks dry or icy, use the re-spin function. Add a small splash of pineapple juice if needed. This helps make it smoother and creamier.

Serve and Enjoy
