Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

Prepare Lime Juice

  • Squeeze fresh limes until you get one cup of juice. Strain to remove seeds. Fresh juice gives the best flavor.

Mix Sugar and Water

  • In a bowl, add sugar and warm water. Stir until sugar fully dissolves. This creates a smooth sweet base.

Add Milk and Flavor

  • Add milk, lime juice, lemon juice, salt, and vanilla. Mix well until everything is smooth and combined evenly.

Add Lime Zest

  • Add lime zest for extra flavor. It gives a strong citrus smell and fresh taste to the sherbet.

Pour into Container

  • Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container. Do not fill above the max line.

Freeze Overnight

  • Place the container in the freezer. Freeze for at least 24 hours until completely solid.

Process in Ninja Creami

  • Take out frozen pint. Insert into Ninja Creami machine. Use the “Sorbet” or “Lite Ice Cream” setting.

Re-spin if Needed

  • If texture looks crumbly, use the re-spin function. This makes it smooth and creamy.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Scoop into bowls and serve immediately. Enjoy cold, creamy, and refreshing lime sherbet.
