  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons pineapple juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon green onions chopped

Instructions

Slice the Beef

  • Cut beef into thin slices. Slice against the grain for tender meat.

Prepare the Marinade

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, and pineapple juice.

Add Flavor Ingredients

  • Add garlic, ginger, salt, and black pepper into the marinade. Mix well.

Marinate the Beef

  • Place beef slices in the marinade. Let it sit for at least 20 minutes.

Heat the Pan

  • Warm olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.

Cook the Beef

  • Add marinated beef to the hot pan. Cook for five to seven minutes.

Stir While Cooking

  • Keep stirring to cook evenly and avoid burning the sauce.

Thicken the Sauce

  • Let the sauce reduce slightly until it becomes sticky and glossy.

Add Garnish

  • Sprinkle chopped green onions on top for fresh flavor.

Serve Hot

  • Serve immediately with rice or vegetables for best taste.

Notes

  • Use chicken instead of beef
  • Add pineapple chunks for sweetness
  • Marinate overnight for deeper flavor
  • Use honey instead of brown sugar
  • Grill for smoky outdoor taste
