Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon flour for dusting

Prepare the Dough

  • Place puff pastry on a clean surface. Dust lightly with flour. Roll it gently to smooth the surface. Make sure it stays even and not too thin. This helps create nice layers.

Add Butter and Flavor

  • Brush melted butter over the entire pastry sheet. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the buttered dough. This creates the sweet filling.

Roll the Pastry

  • Start from one side and roll the pastry tightly into a log. Keep the roll firm but gentle. This helps form layers that will bake into a flaky texture.

Cut the Dough

  • Use a sharp knife to cut the log in half lengthwise. You will see layers inside. Twist each piece slightly and shape into a spiral form.

Place in Muffin Tin

  • Grease the muffin tin lightly. Place each shaped dough into a muffin cup. Make sure the layers face upward for a nice bakery-style look.

Bake the Cruffins

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bake the cruffins for twenty to twenty-five minutes. They should turn golden brown and rise nicely with visible flaky layers.

Cool and Serve

  • Remove from oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Brush a little butter on top if desired. Serve warm and enjoy the soft, sweet layers.
