  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup sugar for coating
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder

Instructions
 

Prepare Dough Base

  • In a pan, heat water, butter, sugar, and salt. Stir until butter melts completely.

Add Flour

  • Slowly add flour into the mixture. Stir continuously until it forms smooth dough.

Add Flavor

  • Mix vanilla extract into dough. This adds sweet aroma and taste.

Cool Dough

  • Let dough cool for a few minutes. It should be soft but not hot.

Shape Fries

  • Place dough in piping bag. Pipe long strips onto a tray. Cut into fry shapes.

Heat Oil

  • Heat oil in deep pan. Make sure it is hot but not smoking.

Fry Carefully
