Ingredients

  • 2 cups sweet corn fresh or canned
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients

  • Start by draining the corn if using canned. Chop green onions and bell peppers into small pieces. Measure all ingredients and keep them ready. This makes the cooking process smooth and quick.

Mix the Base

  • In a large bowl, add mayonnaise and sour cream. Stir well until smooth and creamy. This forms the base of your dip. Make sure there are no lumps left.

Add Corn and Vegetables

  • Add sweet corn, chopped green onions, and diced bell peppers into the bowl. Mix gently so everything blends evenly. The colors should look fresh and bright.

Add Cheese and Spices

  • Now add shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir everything well so the cheese and spices spread evenly in the mixture.

Transfer to Baking Dish

  • Grease a baking dish lightly. Pour the corn mixture into the dish. Spread it evenly using a spoon. Make sure the top is smooth and level.

Bake the Dip

  • Place the dish in a preheated oven at 180°C. Bake for about 25 minutes until the top looks golden and bubbly. The cheese should melt nicely.

Cool and Serve

  • Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve warm with chips or bread. Enjoy the creamy and cheesy goodness.

Notes

  • Use mozzarella for a softer cheese taste
  • Add jalapeños for extra heat
  • Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream
  • Add cooked bacon for smoky flavor
  • Use fresh corn for better texture
