Ingredients

  • 60 ml gin
  • 15 ml maraschino liqueur
  • 10 ml crème de violette
  • 20 ml fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon peel or cherry for garnish

Instructions

Chill the Glass

  • Place your cocktail glass in the fridge for a few minutes. A cold glass keeps the drink fresh longer. This step makes a big difference in taste and experience.

Add Ice to Shaker

  • Fill your cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Use enough ice to chill the drink well. This helps mix the ingredients evenly and gives a smooth finish.

Pour the Ingredients

  • Add gin, maraschino liqueur, crème de violette and fresh lemon juice into the shaker. Measure carefully for a balanced taste. Too much of one ingredient can change the flavor.

Shake Well

  • Close the shaker tightly and shake for about 15 seconds. Shake until the outside feels cold. This mixes everything well and chills the drink perfectly.

Strain the Drink

  • Take your chilled glass from the fridge. Strain the drink into the glass slowly. This removes ice and gives a clean, smooth texture.

Garnish and Serve

  • Add a lemon peel or cherry on top. This gives a fresh aroma and looks beautiful. Serve immediately and enjoy the elegant flavor.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemon juice for best taste
  • Adjust sweetness by adding less liqueur
  • Try different gin brands for unique flavors
  • Skip crème de violette for a simpler version
  • Always serve in a chilled glass
